APAV is a systems integrator of audio-visual equipment with special focus on creating custom apps to control conference room, classroom and home theater equipment using touch panel displays.

APAV apps can run on iPads and other iOS devices as well as PCs, Google Chrome boxes and Android tablets.

Apps can control matrix switchers, projectors, TV displays, DSP’s, digital signage, TV set top boxes, Blu-Rays, lighting, PTZ cameras, AV over IP and much more and can integrate with conference collaboration programs like Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex.

A popular feature of APAV apps is the macro, which, is a series of commands that can be launched with a single button press.

Macros can be used to “start or quit a room”.

For example, pressing a Start Room button might launch a command to lower room lighting, preset room volume and turn a projector and/or other displays on.

A Quit Room button could reverse the above and make sure all equipment is off ready for the next user.
